Dee, Lizzie, and Mare in 2007

Welcome to the new year!

After all the struggles and cataclysms and rewrites, we’re looking forward to the fun part of The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes: the galleys, the cover design, the marketing, the promotion, the booksignings . . . well, we always have a good time no matter what. And since we’re going to spend the first half of 2007 looking back on how the story of Dee, Lizzie, and Mare came to be, we’re really happy to welcome you to our spiffy new website which is, uh, still under construction. It’s a little sparse right now but it’s going to be amazing, and you’ll get to watch it come together while we tell you how The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes came together. So welcome to our new website!

And welcome to 2007, too.

Oh, how exciting!!!! I cannot wait, and I love the little countdown thingamabob on the front page, here. It will be nice to watch the numbers get smaller! And the website get bigger!

Goodness, there’s been a lot of hard work going on here! It’ll be delightful to watch the development and learn more about this forthcoming exciting book - though we already know enough to be giddy and eager about it.
